Martels Carter 

Martels Carter is on a mission to help our youth gain self-respect, motivation and become their best selves through athletics. He is a highly regarded and sought-after coach with a proven record of accomplishment turning troubled teens into sought after athletes as well as helping them to become an asset to society. He has numerous awards and accolades as a coach.

He is a native of Chattanooga, graduated from Howard High School, and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Human Performance from Austin Peay State University where he coached as well as played collegiate football. He has coached in Georgia, Kentucky and Tennessee serving as a Defensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach. works as a Behavioral Specialist for Woodmore Elementary School.

The National Playmakers Academy (NPA) Pack is a part of a national program that was formed in 2010 and Martels has opened a Chattanooga chapter. It is one of the most successful programs in the nation. His student athletes are from Howard, Brainerd, Tyner, Chattanooga Christian, Soddy Daisy, Hixson, Baylor, McCallie, and Orchard Knob Middle to name a few. The goal is to help and give exposure to the under-served community while including all the community.

Our program serve over 100 student athletes. We have flown over 30 students to Las Vegas, NV for the OT7 Cam Newton 7v7 football tournament. We chartered two buses, and took approximately 100 students to a 7v7 football camp in Detroit, MI where they experience playing in the Ford Field NFL stadium. We recently took over 30 students to Deion Sanders football camp where two of our athletes received Division 1 offers.
